News Director
This staff article explains all current news roles. Any questions regarding these roles should be directed to me.
News Director: The News Director oversees the Reporter Compensation Program and supervises reporters.
Desk Director: Desk Director is responsible for assigning tasks, managing recruitment and providing support.
Journalism Director: The Journalism Director is responsible for fact-checking, human resources and recruitment.
Head Reporter: Head Reporters manage Senior Reporters, provide advice and handle complaints.
Senior Reporter: Senior Reporters are more experienced and senior news makers.
Reporter: The very first role within our news, they are on their way to become the best news makers.
Please note that complaints are escalated to the Journalism Director for further review. Head Reporters are not permitted to take actions such as issuing a warning or terminating a reporter without approval from a Journalism or Desk Director.
